Many of us know that adding fermented foods to our diet is an essential part of eating healthy, but did you also know that it does not need to be complicated? Homemade kvass is easy and inexpensive to make, AND it provides the same digestive benefits as fermented sauerkraut.

Kvass, a fermented fruit or vegetable drink, is an age-old tonic known for:

  • reducing inflammation
  • improving immunity
  • aiding digestion, and
  • promoting detoxification.

Learn how easy it is to make both beet kvass and fruit kvass and how to add it into your daily diet for optimum benefits. In addition, taste-test some kvass recipes and explore the key ingredients for fermenting: Himalayan pink salt and whey. Finally, mix up a batch or two of kvass to take home to ferment on your kitchen counter. If you have not yet incorporated ferments into your diet, this class is a great first step!
