When I made my first apt. with Forum Health Clarkston I was a phone call away from having gastric by pass surgery. I was a diabetic of 12 years with numbers reaching the high 300’s even on an insulin pump. I was overweight with Rheumatoid arthritis and many other heath problems. Forum Health impressed me by saying they would help me be successful if I would stay on their program. It was something I couldn’t turn down. Within 2 weeks my blood sugar numbers had come down over 200 points to the mid 140’s and the first month I lost over 10 lbs. And the best part is that I wasn’t hungry. It has now been a little over 6 months and I have lost 50 lbs and my doctor has taken me off my insulin pump and started me on an oral agent. My blood sugars range from 70 to 100 for a diabetic this is a GREAT result. I am truly on the road to a new life and my goal is to lose 20 more pounds and then work on my lifestyle plan for a life time. I know I can do it!
